In 2010, after years of physical strain, I was searching for relief from constant aches and pains. A good friend introduced me to yoga, cold tub therapy, and sauna therapy. The combination of physical and mental benefits from using a sauna helped me feel like my 20-year-old self again. With over 20 years of creativity and building experience, I decided to construct my own Timber Frame Sauna. Before long, friends and neighbors were asking for their own, and that’s when Mill Lane Saunas was born in 2012.
Mill Lane is the street where I lived, and I’ve always loved the imagery of an old-fashioned sawmill at the end of a winding road—a perfect setting for creative designs to come to life.
